Model Glossary
- Structure Asset — a bridge or culvert: type, material, location, environment, traffic, what it crosses.
- Maintenance Envelope — spatial extent of maintenance responsibility around the structure.
- Structure Component Group — deck, substructure, superstructure, timber, culvert, guardrail, sign, waterway, approach embankment.
- Servicing Activity — catalogued activity (activity no, RMPC/TBMM refs, category, relevance flags, default frequency).
- Servicing Activity Detail / Requirement / Procedure Step / Planning Point / Approval Requirement — the activity's standard: restoration standard, resources, steps, governance notes and approvals.
- Servicing Schedule — an activity scheduled against a structure with current vs default frequency and next-due date.
- Frequency Variation — the evidence trail for extending/halving a schedule frequency.
- Servicing Work Order / Line — instructed work and the quantities performed per activity.
- Work Evidence — photos, measurements, sketches, chemical/disposal records, approval documents.
- Chemical Application Record — chemical, product approval, operator qualification, location, quantity.
- Servicing Cost Record — labour/plant/material/contractor cost split.
- Defect — a fault found on a structure, with severity and scope determination.
- Inspection Issue — escalation of an out-of-scope defect to a Level 2/3 inspection request.
- External Authority Notification — road/rail authorities, service providers, landowners, environmental officers, rural fire service.
- Environmental Constraint — watercourse, protected plants, potable water restrictions, chemical use, heritage and similar constraints.
